procurement - senior manager

Our client, a leading management consultancy firm, are looking for Senior Managers with experience of working with clients around selecting, designing and implementing Procurement Technology solutions and experience of working with the top Procurement Technology Business Partners.

Role & Responsibilities
Leading large, multi-geography teams implementing best practice procurement technology solutions to leading FTSE 100 companies
Developing and maintaining relationships at board level with clients and business partners in Procurement Technology.
Developing opportunities and selling new opportunities to grow the business
Contributing to thought leadership and practice growth in the procurement technology space.
Ensuring that client needs are met, and demonstrating an ability to inspire and foster a sense of self belief in others.

Essential Requirements
Extensive experience of leading and delivering large scale / complex technology (Cloud/SaaS/On-Premise) procurement projects, in numerous sectors or markets.
Managing senior stakeholders up to board level. 
   Delivering sustainable change.
Recognised as an expert in Procurement Technology solutions, with ability to provide credible technical insight to clients.
Deep knowledge of the Procurement Technology market, the main client issues and solutions available and the key industry players.
Extensive experience of designing, selecting, supporting and implementing procurement technology solutions with multiple clients, including working with system integrators, technology providers and technology business partners.
Knowledge of wider supply chain /  procurement initiatives – including: sourcing, category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, Purchase to Pay (P2P), demand and supply planning, warehousing, distribution, S&OP, IBP and knowledge of Public Sector (OJEU) procurement procedures
Leading teams to deliver projects.
Experience of managing direct reports and / or project team.
Developing excellent relationships with multiple clients over time and evidence of an existing strong network of client relationships.
