As one of the most respected players in the global consulting market, my client is looking for experienced business winners to drive forward its Government and Public Sector practice.

Working closely with the MD, you will be responsible for shaping, selling and delivering a broad portfolio of public sector assignments for the major government departments, or local authorities or the healthcare market, as well as providing thought leadership in this area.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Engaging with senior policy makers and key ministerial personnel across Whitehall / Local Government / Healthcare to identify client problems and providing cost-effective, tailor-made solutions

·         Generation of new logo business as well as identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts in the public sector.

·         Offering thought leadership and domain expertise on public sector issues in addition to conducting seminars and publishing material on government agenda.

·         Involvement in delivering consulting assignments and ensuring customer satisfaction and benefits realisation.

Skills required:

·         Deep knowledge of central government / local government / healthcare departments Experience of winning lucrative consulting assignments in the public sector

·         High-level contact with Ministers and senior policy makers across Whitehall

·         Experience in delivering consulting assignments

·         Excellent academic record

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Blue –chip consulting experience, possibly currently acting as a Senior Manager.
