Strategy

Strategy consulting professionals work with corporate executives, developing innovative strategic operational and transformational solutions to maximise shareholder value.

A strategist must be able to carry out complex strategic analyses, such as a company’s current business situation, market and competitor trends, translating this insight to help identify growth opportunities and develop implementable solutions.

Not only does this require excellent analytical and commercial skills, but also the ability to be able to converse credibly and persuasively with senior corporate executives. Therefore, experience of having worked in strategic roles prior to consulting is generally essential, as is an excellent academic background.
